Over 55'sGroup Memory Workshops
Taking place on Wednesday 15 and 22 January 2026, 10.15am - 1.30pm.
Coasts in Mind are mapping 100 years of change in Poole Harbour through the memories of local residents, and they'd love to hear yours!
Join the Over 55's Group Memory Workshops for a friendly, relaxed session where you can share stories about life in Poole, meet new people, and take a virtual journey around the harbour using archive footage from Poole Museum. There will be plenty of chances to pause for tea, coffee, and cake along the way!

Throughout the session, we will:
- Welcome you with refreshments and introduce the Coasts In Mind project
- Take a virtual walk along Poole Quay and through the Docks to Hamworthy using archive footage
- Share and record your memories of life around the harbour
- Pause for breaks and conversation over tea, coffee, and cake
- Wrap up with a summary of what we’ve discovered together
