Then head into Scaplen’s Court and experience our first exhibition in this revitalised space - a FREE immersive audiovisual installation by artist and creative technologist Richard Tomlinson.
This isn’t your average museum exhibition. It combines stunning visuals, sound art, and young community voices, as you fast-forward through Earth’s epic history.
Richard worked closely with museum staff to make the installation site-specific, incorporating high-quality images of starfish, seahorses, fossils, shells, and more from our Natural History collection. And soon, you’ll be able to see the very items that inspired the visuals on display alongside the installation.
As you travel through time, you’re invited to reflect on your own impact on our planet and imagine what comes next.
So come explore, reflect, and maybe even change the future!
