Poole Museum loves to welcome families, and we have a dedicated area for art and craft activities for younger visitors on the third floor of the museum.
- Activities for young visitors
Activities for young visitors
We run a programme of free family activities during school holidays. These are based on a different theme for each holiday period, so there are lots of different things to do throughout the year. Previous sessions have focused on:
The Iron Age
Bugs and insects
Activities can include ‘make and take’, art work, trails and competitions.
Look out for our ticketed events for families such as storytelling and Museum Music and Mime.
Sea Music Trail pack
A trail for families and Primary Schools to explore the Sea Music public artwork on Poole Quay by Anthony Caro. Download here or pick up your free copy from the Museum Reception.
Details of the forthcoming programme can be found in our events calendar. If you would like to join our mailing list to receive notification about our events please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
