Scaplen's Court Wedding Planning Checklist and Tips
We have created this checklist to help guide you in the planning of your special day with us here at Scaplen's Court.
Use this checklist to help co-ordinate all the different aspects of your day.
During the planning process this checklist helps us also, in getting to know you, your ideas and how we can support you ahead of your Wedding and on the day.
Please use in conjunction with our FAQ's that can be found here http://www.poolemuseum.org.uk/venue-hire/weddings/wedding-faqs/
We do like to arrange a meeting with you closer to your day to run through the items on this checklist, but if at any stage there is anything we can assist with please do get in touch.

Floor Plans, Example Table Layouts and Table Dimensions
Please see below a selection of plans and table layouts to give you some ideas when arranging the Upper Hall for your wedding breakfast.
There are also details for all the tables available in terms of those used for the wedding breakfast, outdoor trestle tables used for the drinks reception and others useful elsewhere for additional purposes like cake tables and gift tables etc.
A basic floor plan of Scaplen's Court is also available.
We have produced a short information guide for you to distribute to all of your suppliers who are attending your day. This guide includes information regarding:
- The building and facilities available;
- Types of equipment permitted on site;
- Responsibility in terms of setting up and packing away;
- Documentation required from your suppliers to permit access on the day of your event.
As we particularly recognise catering is such a hugely important and special part of your day, at Scaplen's Court you have the flexibility to choose your own suppliers, including a choice of caterers, so you really are able to create the type of occasion you want, be it a vintage afternoon tea, rustic-style buffet or elegant dinner. There will be many questions you have for your caterer and questions your caterer will have for you in return.
In order to help you in this process we have produced a list of useful questions to help point out a few things for you to consider and confirm with your caterer.
This is where you will find all the additional information that might be useful, including details of other equipment etc.
