Poole Museum's 5th floor suite
Our 5th floor suite within Poole Museum is situated on the top floor of this wonderfully unique Victorian quayside warehouse.
The 5th Floor Suite comprises an open plan space which can be used flexibly to accommodate up to a maximum of 50 people.
This space is multi-purpose and as such can accommodate a variety of types of events, including:
- Children's birthday parties;
- Small family gatherings;
- Afternoon Tea style events.
Please note the 5th floor suite is fully accessible with lift access. An accessible toilet is located directly off the room.
Scaplen’s Court is a beautifully unique Grade I listed ancient building dating back to the 1300's, offering a characterful setting to hold your function or event.
With an abundance of history and character, Scaplen’s Court features exposed stone walls, medieval doorways, a charming courtyard and a delightful walled garden, all contributing to ensuring a truly wonderful atmosphere for your event.
Scaplen’s Court offers a variety of atmospheric spaces both indoors and out. Accommodating up to 60 people, the Upper Hall provides a large function space whilst smaller rooms are also available on the ground and first floors and work well alongside for welcome drinks, guests mingling etc.
Scaplen’s Court offers you exclusive use for the duration of your function and can accommodate a variety of types of events and functions, including:
- Birthday Celebrations (excluding 16th, 18th and 21st Birthday Parties);
- Anniversary Parties;
- Fundraising Dinners;
- Naming Ceremonies;
- Funeral Receptions.
Catering and Refreshments
We are pleased to offer a range of refreshment and buffet options prepared freshly by our onsite cafe here at Poole Museum.
Examples of the options available include:
- Sandwich platters;
- Mixed savoury snacks;
- Cheese and deli style buffets;
- Traditional afternoon and cream teas;
- Sweet treats.
