Tudor Rich and Tudor Poor

This workshop is suitable for Key Stage 2 pupils. This workshop will take place at your school.

 

Learning Outcomes

  1. To introduce the Tudor Royal Family.

  2. To learn about some differences between the rich and poor in Tudor times.

  3. To learn some Tudor customs.

 

Outline

Introduction. 

Run through the royals. Find out about life in Tudor times through the Tudor royal family.

Plenary.

 

 

Staff ratios   

Your class will be divided into three groups. You should bring four adult helpers. Three adults will be needed to supervise the group activities and the class teacher should float between groups.

 

Clothing

The workshop involves drama and role-play. We encourage pupils and adults to dress in pirate style outfits (these should be comfortable and include soft shoes).

 

Photography

We are very happy for our staff to be photographed working with your pupils. Where consent is available we would be grateful for copies of digital photos we can use for promotion and publicity.

 

Health and safety

risk assessment has been prepared to assist you in your risk assessment.

 

Access

If your group has specific issues, such as special educational needs, learning or physical disabilities please raise these when booking so that we can tailor the session accordingly.
