Extract from actual document. Last 3 words are “Pyratts att sea"

The true copy of the letter of the Council’s for raising  of one hundred pounds towards the expedition against the Turks of Algiers & Tunis and Pirates at sea.

After our very hearty commendations, whereas a petition heretofore exhibited to his Majesty by the owners of shipping trading the Straits (of Gibralter) and other places, humbly we present to his princely consideration the infinite spoils done of late to his subjects by Pirates at sea , and especially by those of Algiers and Tunis who are grown to such a strength and height of robbery and depredation that within these few years they have taken from the petitioners above 30 ships with the cargos and merchandise of the same, besides the capturing of many hundreds of his Majesties subjects to the utter ruin of themselves, their wives and their children.
